New Light Bulb Not Working

Hi - the light bulb in the main refrigerator died and so we replaced with a new one but it does not turn on. All else i.e. light in the freezer, ice maker, cooling etc. all working ok. Can you please help?Thanks.

Hello, it could be a problem with the switch (or a problem with the wiring). The switch is supposed to close the circuit when the fridge door is closed, but if it's not working right it won't close the circuit and the light won't come on. You can see details in the wiring diagram -- look in the bottom right corner (look for Refrig. Light Switch) and in the lower left corner (look for Crisp. Light and Mid-Level Light)
