Oven And Burners Won't Light. No Clicking Sound.

The oven and burners won't light. There is no clicking sound. There is gas coming to the burner. It will light when I turn the burner knob on and put a match to the individual burner. What is the problem?

That is a great question! I would normally recommend checking the gas but it looks like that would not be the concern, since you are able to light the burner with the match. The next thing I check would be the power to the appliance. I would try to do a hard power reset which can sometimes correct the concern. Please try to turn the power off to the unit from the household circuit breaker for nothing less than five minutes. Then turn the power back on and see if the ignitor comes back on. If it has not changed, you would require a professional technician to further repair your appliance as this is not a typical do-it-yourself situation.
