Control Panel Caught Fire

My 16 month old Frigidaire control caught fire whortly after the oven had reached set operating temperature. Is this something that happens to other owners?

This is not a typical instance for any manufacturer's products. However one cannot guarantee against it. I would contact Frigidaire to see if they can have a service repairman come take a look at it. I do not see this unit on any recall list, so you are clear there.
