Frigidaire Dryer - Softener Sheet Drops Into Dryer Lint Filter Hole

While I was washing another load in the washing machine, I opened the dryer and took away the dryer lint filter to clean.  Unfortunately, the softener sheet near the dryer lint filter dropped into the hole and was sucked into it very fast.   I am afraid it would blocked the ventilation and cause the fire.   Would anyone has any idea whether this would cause any safety problem?

If you can reach or pull the unit out and take off the venting accordian duct system, see if you notice any debris that might block air flow. Clean it out the best you can with what you can, even canned air, and go from there. Keep an eye on it, but if you have good air flow prior to that, it should eventually leave the unit, go into the duct system and hopefully make its way outside or at least to get caught in the vent cap that is usually on the wall of your home.
