The Back Unit Goes On And Off By Self. How Do I Fix It?

Good Morning. Thank you for your post! Typically if a cook top is functioning properly except one element (burner) then the communication between it, the element's switch and the main control board is not correct. More often than not, this requires a professional to diagnose all connections and signals to find which component(s) need to be repaired or fully replaced. I would not suggest to troubleshoot this yourself any further and to turn the circuit breaker off to the appliance when not in use.
