Fabric Softener Compartment

The fabric softener does not drain out of the compartment. I have cleaned it numerous times as well as the interior when I take the draw out. I have also purchased new parts for the draw. Any other suggestions?

[Cause]

There can be three reasons why fabric softener does not drain.

a). Washer is not levelled.

b). Dispenser is clogged.

c). Washer is getting low water pressure.

[Solution]

a). If your washer is not levelled,

Make sure the washer is levelled. If the washer is not even, residual of fabric softener can be collected in your washer and clog the dispenser.

b). If the dispenser is clogged,

Make sure the dispenser is not clogged. Remove the dispenser and then remove the blue siphoning cap. Rinse the dispenser thoroughly in warm water and then reinstall the cap and dispenser.
