You would need a garden hose that has a 5/8" thick black washer in the screw thread of the hose, hook it up to the back of the dehumidifer unit. You will then need to select continuous drain by turning the humidity down all the way until you see CO or CD on the unit display. The unit will now stay on until you turn it off. Make sure to have the unit level, and run the hose in a slight decline outside of your home or in a draining bucket.
