Ford Explored 2006

I have a 2006 Ford Explorer, i was having problem with the transmission. I took the vehicle to my local mechanic and he replace  the transmission with a rebuild one.  The control transmission module have different color.  My question is; how can my mechanic connect the wires with different colors? Please assist, attached are pictures for you information.
