Adjusting The Time The Lights Stay On - On The Running Boards

we just purchased this 2005 Excursion with lighted running boards. The lights seem to stay on for maybe 20-30 minutes. Can these be adjusted to less minutes so we do not have to keep looking out the window just to see?
