2004 Ford Freestar How To Change Odometer Km To Miles

To change the unit of distance from km to Miles (and vice versa) on a vehicle that is not equipped with Message Center:

1: Insert key into the ignition and turn it on.
It's not necessary to start the engine. The odometer will illuminate and show the total mileage of the vehicle.
2: Press the trip reset button and hold it down for at least three seconds.
The trip reset button is at the bottom left of the speedometer.
3: Release the button.
The display will show the other unit of distance.
