Probably not, but you may have done other damage to the vehicle. You may have burned out your alternator, starter, starter relay and the fusible link that goes from the starter to the alternator. You're going to have to take out the alternator and starter and have Autozone (or similar store) test them for you.

The starter relay and fusible link to the alternator are easy to replace, once you find their location. The starter relay should be on the driver's side near the firewall. The fusible link is in the battery cable, between the battery to alternator connection. Replace one thing at a time and you should eventually solve the problem. If it still doesn't start, then you may have done damage to the vehicle's computer system.

One more thing. Check ALL of your fuses. You may have blown various miscellaneous fuses when you connected the battery.
