F 250 Power Loss

Every 5,000 I change engine oil. When the engine is cold around 1,000 miles after the oil change I have a 2 to 3 second power loss for about every 15 to 20 seconds. 5 to 10 miles later depending on how fast the engine warms up the intermittent power loss goes away. 5,000 miles later I change the oil and the problem goes away for 1,000 or so miles. Any ideas?
