I have tried so many times to enter a new password - just not accepting - Where am I going wrong?

There are several possible problems. It could be as simple as typing your password with the caps lock key on. Make sure it's off. Or the problem could stem from an outdated browser, or overloaded cache or cookies.

Except for the caps lock key issue, these issues are all addressed at length on this Facebook page.
