How do I remove something posted on my Timeline?

You can delete stories that you and your friends post on your Timeline (which we sometimes refer to as your profile):
  1. Go to your Timeline
  2. Hover over the story and click
  3. Choose Delete... or Hide from Timeline from the dropdown menu
    • Hide from Timeline: Removes the story from your Timeline, not Facebook
    • Delete...: Removes the story from Facebook entirely

If you don't want something you're tagged in to appear on your Timeline, you'll need to remove the tag. Remember, when you remove a tag, the post will no longer appear on your Timeline. However, that post is still visible to the audience it's shared with other places on Facebook, such as in News Feed and search.
