How Do I Sign Out Or Exit Out Of Facebook?

The ridiculous Facebook "Help" page only has some answers to FAQ (no real help). The FAQ response to this question says there is an icon on the top that lets you sign out .... true, ability to sign out appears sometimes. Other times, such as the past two days, it does not appear .. No help from FACEBOOK. Useless "help" or customer support

on the top right corner there is a sign/symbol of a gear or screw type..the last symbol in the line on the top most right corner.

click it will show a tab.

click logout that is the 2nd last option

you will be logged out
