I Have A Issue That Seems To Be Coming From Facebook

Yesterday I logged on facebook but was intercepted by a message from them that I had malware on my computer and needed to download a virus protection from a company named Eset. It was a free virus protection. No matter how I tried to get rid of the message every time I tried to log on to FB it kept coming up. So I downloaded the program and it began to scan , it never really finished because it ran for hours and I finally cancelled it and uninstalled it from my computer. Now I cannot log on to the net at all. My computer says unidentified network. I thought it was the modem but the cable provider checked it out and it is not the modem. I logged on from another computer and it was fine but half an hour later I couldnt log on to FB again and got the same malware message.

those are just scams, it was not really scanning it was just corrupting your system. Just try to egnore the message next time.
