Two possible solutions:

1. Quit Internet Explorer and use Firefox instead. Firefox has reportedly fixed the problem.

2. While your computer is still on, open the task manager, find the iexplorer.exe process and end the task. Open your control panel and reset Internet Explorer. Repeat if the problem recurs (until Facebook implements a fix).
