24 Hr Wait Period After Deactivating

Hi,   I started a facebook account approximately 6 days ago.  I added several ppl and then decided to deactivate my account because i needed to concentrate on my summer class.  Facebook said i had to wait 24 hrs before i could reactivate.  It's been 6 days and everytime i try to log in, it says i have to wait 24 hrs.  It's not letting me log in to my own account.  Funny thing is my friends and family can see my account.  I have received many emails from facebook saying my 24 hr wait period is now over and i can reactivate, but everytime i log in it says i have to wait 24 hrs.  This is very annoying.  PLEASE HELP.  Thanks.
