Trying To Delete My Account But It Is Not Accepting My Password;

I'm trying to delete my facebook account but it will not accept my password; getting message that email/password combination is incorrect, however, I am using the same password I logged into facebook with. Is this just Facebook's way of not letting you delete your account??????
