Identity Theft And Slander

My dad is a highly respected bishop in the richmond county area in North Carolina 28379. The issue that I have is and question how do we track the person(s) that have destroyed his name and his church's name by slandering him on facebook and they used his name to set up a fake page and put his phone number on there and the location of the church. He is highly upset and feels that someone should put a stop to this and the minors that are setting up pages. How do we ahndle this/

You need to contact Facebook immediately. They may need to be prodded with an attorney to get them to be helpful. But first, do this to correct the problem: Fake profiles created to imitate real people (impostor profiles) are not allowed on Facebook.

If someone created a profile pretending to be you:

Go to the profile
Scroll to the bottom of the left column and click "Report/Block This Person"
Click "This profile is pretending to be someone or is fake"
Choose "Pretending to be me" from the type drop-down
Click "Continue" to submit your report

Note: If you can’t view the profile you’re trying to report, ask a friend to file a report for you.
