Friend's Previous Messages Deleted Automatically Content Flagged As Abusive

a friends previous messages have all been deleted automatically as it says content that has been flagged as abusive or marked as spam - what would have happened for this to be the case - when I try not to search for this friend on facebook, I cannot find them there at all?

It would seem that your friend's profile has been flagged for violating Facebook's policies and subsequently disabled.
