How Can I Permanently Delete My Facebook Account?

I temporarily closed my account a couple of weeks ago and was shocked to learn from a co-worker that my account was still up and running. I decided to check, and sure enough, here I am! Not only was my account still active, but somehow links were being sent to all my friends repeatedly! I haven't been able to view those links, hoewever, based on the strongly worded responses I have been receiving from friends, those links are not appropriate! One friend was so offended by one of the links that he sent me a message telling me to "f" off! Please, Please respond to this message asap as my friends list includes family, friends, co-workers and their CHILDREN who have been receiving these messages. Please respond to this matter immediately! I would also like someone to send me an explanatioin as to how my account was closed by me, but reopened without my knowledge or consent. Thank you kindly for looking into this matter.

Facebook doesn't allows us to delete our facebook acounts permanently. it has only a feature to disable it. so that if you enable your account again your photos updates, friends etc. will same as before you cannot delete your facebook account permanently.

To delete you facebook account permanently follow these steps -

Delete all photos in your account
Delete all videos in your account
Delete all friends in your account
Delete all updates in your account[though it is not possible something is left always]
Delete every thing you posted on your facebook account
then disable it.
