Fraud Alert

My name and Social Security Number were used to set up a fraudulent account at Allied Bank.  No money was deposited into it but I want a Fraud Alert Notice placed on my credit report.  How do I do this?  The Bank Officer suggested I call Experian to report it but I don't see a phone number for this type of service.  Please advise.

You should call their National Consumer Assistance Center at 1-888-397-3742. They will be able to issue a fraud alert for you.
