The Cmyk Side Of The Inks Not Printing...all 4.

The CMYK side of the inks stopped printing. We tried the normal cleaning steps and still nothing. We then tried using the cleaning cartridge. Not only did it not work but nothing drained out at all. What would cause no drainage at all when using the cleaning cartridge? And is this possibly a reason why no inks will print? Is there a pump that pulls the ink and the cleaning fluid out of the cartridge that may have failed?
