Checking For Updates For Hours

Do you have be be a member of ifit in order for your elliptical to work? We just bought this elliptical used and can't do anything with it. It keeps wanting to check for updates and just sits there and spins for hours doing nothing.Please help me so I can make use of the elliptical I bought.

To use an iFit workout, you must have access to a wireless network (see HOW TO USE THE WIRELESS NETWORK MODE on page 32). An iFit account is also required.

Update the console firmware.

For the best results, regularly check for firmware

updates.Touch the Firmware Update button to check for

firmware updates using your wireless network. The update will begin automatically.

IMPORTANT: To avoid damaging the elliptical, do not turn off the power while the firmware is being updated.
