Dryer Stopped Turning.

Dryer stopped spinning after finding clothing wedged inbetween door and drum.  After pulling out wedged items, noticed that drum would no longer spin.  Finally pulled system apart and unceased motor.  After putting everything back together, dryer made loud scraping noise. When taking apart dryer second time back of blower scraped off.  I will replace blower, but not sure why it was scraping.  I took system apart several times before to try and stop scraping, with no success.  Not sure if I also need to replace motor too.  Motor sounds fine.  I noticed if I tilted entire dryer forward, scraping would complete stop, as if the blower was warped.  Please advise before I continue
