- Speak to the store manager, preferably in person.
- Call central customer service, and if necessary politely but firmly ask for a manager (use the contact information at https://www.contacthelp.com/el%20pollo%20loco/customer-service).
- Complain to corporate: use the corporate contact information at http://www.corporateofficeowl.com/el%20pollo%20loco/Corporate%20Office..
- Complain to your state's consumer protection agency: see https://www.usa.gov/state-consumer. Or if necessary complain to the agency where El Pollo Loco is located. (You can determine that using the link in par. 3 above.)
In addition, you may want to consider a review/complaint site like www.complaintsboard.com/, http://www.consumeraffairs.com/, or https://www.yelp.com/, each of which may get action from the offending companies
