Dyson Dc25 Brush Bar/roller
I have taken out the brush and cleaned it but it still won't rotate when machine on. I have checked and the bar won't turn at all. Could this be the belt. i have also checked the suction and strong.

Hi! If the roller is clean but it still won't spin, then the microswitch that activates the roller may be stuck. The grey button next to the red one sometimes sticks so it won't reach the microswitch underneath to start the roller.
You will need to remove the surrounding plastic using a special star-shaped screwdriver. Locate the microswitch and press it a few times and spray a small amount of lubricant on the moving switch parts.
If it still doesn't work, you can bypass the switch by adding a wire between the two contacts of the microswitch. This will keep the brushes rotating continuously when the power is on.
