How Do I Watch My Dvd Player With Dish

I can't get my DVD player to work. It's on but I can't switch over even when I push the DVD button.

Hi, I am sorry that you are having a problem getting your DVD player on your TV. You need to cycle through the inputs on your TV to get to the DVD player. Press and release the clear TV button on the top left side of the remote, then press the small input button under the TV button and a list will show up on the screen. Pressing the input button again will switch you between the inputs. Press each one and wait a few seconds to see if the TV picture shows for your DVD player. You will need to do this again to get back to your DISH receiver. If you any additional assistance, please email me. Thank you!
