My Receiver Turns Off!!!!

My receiver turns off automatically without me turning it off. I have the second hook up with no box and when I try and tape a show the receiver/satelite turns off every hour. What can I do?

I am sorry you are having a power issue with your receiver. One of the first thing I people check is if the receiver at the TV1 location is plugged into a surge protector, remove the plug and plug the receiver directly to the wall electrical socket. Our receivers are very susiptable to fluctuations in power. If this does not correct the situation then some advanced troubleshooting. Please feel free to contact me directly. Thank you!
