Hi there elizaamitp8! My name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Department with DISH. It is my pleasure to help you. In order to get DISH Programming to appear on your Tv it will depend on the type of cable being used to connect the DISH receiver to the Tv. If you are using RCA cables it will need to be on Input one/Video one/or just Video, if connected with just a Coax cable it will need to be channel 3 or 4. If you are using RCA's and need to change inputs on your Tv but don't have the remote you can find a button on the Tv itself that is labeled 'Input' 'Source' or 'Video' If you have an HD receiver and have and HDMI cable connected the TV must beon HDMI Input, If using component cables it will need to be under the Component Input.
