My Remote#2 Will Not Let Me Select A Channel As It Interfers With Remote #1.

The receiver we have is #722  DVR. just installed yesterday. On back of remote 2, is our TV down stairs, it says to hit Ch60 and go and then select channel we want to watch. I have done this and it interferes with remote #1 for TV upstairs to the same channel. On #1 we select the channel we are watching and it will come on #2 also.  We cannot get seperate channels for each TV.
