What Causes Your Satellite To Turn Off By It's Self And Want Come Back On ?
You can be watching something and everything just shuts off

rubybaker44, this sounds like it is the "Inactivity Standby" feature. This feature will turn the receiver into standby mode if it is not touched for a certain number of hours. You can change the number of hours before this happens by selecting Menu -8-4. On the right you can scroll through and change the amount of time before the receivers goes to standby mode.
