Can I use my blackberry smartphone on my dvr to for broadband connection to get vod and if I can then how do I hook it up

If I understand your question correctly, you cannot use your Blackberry as a point of access for the receiver. If you have a wireless router, then you can purchase a wireless adapter to connect to the receiver which will then enable you to order VOD.
