My Dewalt Radio Model #dc012 Shuts Off After You Turn It On .. Please Help

I have a DeWalt Radio , when you turn it on, it shuts off after about 5 second, and you can turn it back on but it does the same thing , anyone know whats wrong , and what to do to fix it? I am a fisherman and i depend on my radio ! Thanks for any help
