If your AV receiver shares the same network connection (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) with your PC, Tablet or Smart phone, then you can use any of these devices to enter the receiver's setup mode and change the functions settings using the receiver's IP address.

To access the setup mode, enter the receiver's IP address in the browser as follow: http://IP-Address/. For a more detailed procedure, follow the steps bellow:

1.Check your receiver's IP address. Note 1: Most routers offer a way to view a list of connected devices and their IP addresses (See your router's manual for more information). An easier way to check the IP address is to enter the receiver's setup menu and select "Network" followed by "Information". Note 2: Without the remote control you'd only be able to do this with units equipped with the buttons needed to access the setup mode (SETUP, ENTER and Cursor Buttons).

2.Launch your Web browser and click your mouse in the address bar at the top of the window. Ensure that any previously existing text in the address bar is either deleted or selected.

3.Type the string "http://" followed by the IP address and then a forward slash. For example, type "http://10.1.5.32/" (without the quotes).

4.When the setup menu is displayed, click on the menu item you want to operate and make your selection.

Note: Depending on the settings of your security-related software, you may not be able to access this unit from your PC. If this is the case, then change the settings of the security-related software.
