Solution For Avr 1082, 2022 Lg, Optical, And Newer Tvs
This isn't a question. Just helpful information for those searching online for a solution. For you Denon AVR users and LG TVs (i have a new QHD Ai) After a very complicated mess with my denon Avr 1082 (I wanted to throw the bloody thing out the window) there's a very simple solution that I hope this information will benefit other users. Only need optical cord to run from TV to optical in slot of the receiver (mines in optical 2 slot) Next u want to reset all learned and presents on the receiver using the remote. The source u want is PCM. It's the digital connection. Next Source is the TV/DBS. Once that is selected this is the most important part when switching audio to optical out on tv. U have to call LG for them to remote connect and manually change the optical out setting to optical out PCM. Works like a charm. Good luck! ? (btw for this specific denon 7Ch Stereo stereo works the best)
