Message From Printer To Replace Black Cartridge But I Am Using A New One
I replaced my black cartridge with the appropriate new black cartridge for my dell 715w printer, but I still get the same "replace black cartridge..." message. I took the cartridge out and banged the ink head on the table to be sure the ink was flowing, and then I put it back in the printer and made sure it clicks in the way it should, but I still get the same message. WHY? What do I do?

Please make sure that you are using Dell Certified Cartridges.
Check if the cartridges is correctly installed.
Update the firmware of the Printer from the below link after entering the service tag and current operating system of your computer.

Note: Make sure that the Printhead is out and the lid is closed for the firmware update.
Once the Firmware update is done please try again.
