U3011 Have A Firmware Update?
Hi i have u3011 monitor with a peculiar problem, only vga port is connect any othe port that i try, he informa no signal and after a few seconds entering in power save, mode i chandge the cables the computer and the problema persist is something with the monitor i try to reset to factory configuration, but the problem persist. I lie to try to update the monitor firmware, but dell told me that only in thei authorized to do it, but more importante my monitor is not in garantee, because this the support sugest me to fall it in garbage and by anoter one....By this, i like to try the update alone. Its the last dell procut that i buy.

Sorry, there's no firmware upgrade but you should try the below steps to setup the U3011 monitor with HDMI cable:
- Connect the HDMI cable to the computer and the U3011 monitor,
- Select the menu button on the monitor.
- Use the up and down arrow keys to select Input Source.
- Select HDMI input when you are using the HDMI connector.
- Press the "->" button to select the HDMI input source and check.
To set the Maximum resolution for the monitor:
If the operating system in the computer is Windows XP then follow the below steps:
- Right-click the desktop and click Properties.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Set the screen resolution to 2048 x 1280 (VGA input source) / 2560 x 1600 (DVI/DisplayPort input sources) / 1920 x 1200 (HDMI input source).
- Click OK.
If the operating system in the computer is Windows Vista® or Windows® 7:
- Right-click the desktop and click Personalization.
- Click Change Display Settings.
- Move the slider-bar to the right by pressing and holding left-mouse button and adjust the screen resolution to 2048 x 1280 (VGA input source) / 2560 x 1600 (DVI/DisplayPort input sources) / 1920 x 1200 (HDMI input source).
- Click OK.
If you do not see 2048 x 1280 (VGA input source) / 2560 x 1600 (DVI/DisplayPort input sources) / 1920 x 1200 (HDMI input source) as an option, graphics card driver update is required depending on your computer,
