How is the CD disk removed from the dell xps 1645 lap top?

Removal of a CD or of the drive unit itself?
To eject the CD either use the button next to the drive, right click the drive in Windows Explorer and select Eject, or use a straightened paper clip inserted into the small emergency eject hole by the CD slot or door.
