Adapter

wireless adapter shuts off when not plugged in. how do i keep it on?

Hello rich2060,

I am from Dell Social Media and Community.

It could be the power management settings of the device that has to be enabled.

Please follow the steps below to enable it.

Open Control Panel > Device manager > Right click on wireless card under network  adapters > Properties > Power management tab > select the option to enable the wireless card while on battery.
