Dell Inspiron 5520 237om Cooling

this dell 5520 sits so low on the surface. do i need to prop it up to operate, so the pc can have ventilate in other words. does it need to be up from the surface more, or is it ok that close to the surface. steve

Using a Laptop on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface will increase airflow and reduce heat from underneath and inside the system. In case you are facing any issue with overheating or laptop fan you can also refer to the below mentioned articles that might help you:
