What Is The Difference Between Directv Remotes Rc65rbx, Rc65rb, And Rc65rbk?

The Rc65rbx is the "basic" remote used by DirecTv - it can control up to 4 components, DirecTv receivers, TVs, VCRs and DVD players (new and even some older models). It is memory protected to that nothing is lost when you change the batteries. (Well, nothing except your temper, sometimes that inline placement can be awkward)
THe Rc65rb is a the top of the line of the three. It will do everything that the Rc65rbx will do with the added benefit if RF (radio frequency) capable. And this means that you don't have to be that careful about pointing the remote directly at the system to effect change. What this means is that you can lie in bed and your feet will not block the signal. It also operates on IR (infra red but so do the other two remores) It is also backlit which means that in low light, you can actually see the buttons without resorting to feeling your way through them. The Rc65rbk has large number buttons in the shape of the actual number. It may take awhile to get used to as the button arrangement is different. It too has backlit buttons but is not RF capable.
