What has happened to the OWN channel? I was going to watch a show and the blue box came up stating that the channel is not purchased.

Could be a couple of problems. One, you may be trying to tune to a HD channel instead of the regular channel and you're not set up for HD. Second, it may be part of a viewers package that you haven't purchased. Check your other channel listings in add channels, if you're not trying to tune to the HD version and you have purchased the package that includes the channel - simply call customer service at 1-800-directv and they can correct the problem for you. Ask fo tech support.
