If you're using Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2, try this:

Click on start menu>RUN and type: ncpa.cpl

Click OK

Right click the appropriate connection and click repair.

Repair winsock

Click start menu >RUN, type netsh winsock reset and then click OK
Command prompt flashes, restart your computer.

If you aren't running that version, you may try Run CMD and attempt renewing and releasing: Command Prompt: ipconfig/release then the command prompt ipconfig/renew.

If this is a new router for you, you can contact the company directly also for assistence, though sometimes they charge for such calls. I'm not the most technically inclined, but saw this was left unanswered and thought I'd do a bit of research for you. Hard with not knowing your exact router and Windows or Mac system. I assumed Windows. I hope you're able to get it working! I know how difficult it can be. There is also a great forum called www.techguy.org that is very helpful.
