Where Does The Spring Go On The Clutch In The Front Crossbar?

The spring on the clutch in the front crossbar of a Cub Cadet LGTX 1054 goes on the inside of the crossbar, with the end of the spring that is bent into a loop facing down. The spring helps to keep the clutch engaged when the mower is in motion.
Here are the steps on how to install the spring on the clutch in the front crossbar of a Cub Cadet LGTX 1054:
Locate the spring. The spring is located on the inside of the front crossbar, near the clutch.
Align the end of the spring that is bent into a loop with the hole in the crossbar.
Push the spring through the hole in the crossbar.
Bend the end of the spring that is sticking out of the hole so that it hooks over the edge of the crossbar.
Make sure that the spring is installed correctly. The spring should be tight enough so that it does not come loose, but not so tight that it damages the clutch.
The spring is labeled as "1" in the diagram. The hole in the crossbar is labeled as "2" in the diagram.
If you are not comfortable installing the spring yourself, you can take your lawn mower to a qualified mechanic.
