Cub Cadet Lgtx 1054 Power Steering Jerks To The Left.

All of sudden the power steering wants to jerk to the left and sometimes goes all the way to the left. I have to turn off the tractor to straighten it back out. What is causing this? I have checked the hydrostat fluid, and it is good. Thanks in advance for your help.

How do you adjust the steering on a Cub Cadet?

Move each steering arm from right to left after loosening the bolts with the wrench. Adjust each arm as desired then re-tighten the one bolt closest to the base of each arm to set the arm's left-to-right positioning.

Do Cub Cadets have power steering?

Cub Cadet GSX models have electronic power steering. The advantage with electronic power steering versus hydraulic is the electronic power steering doesn't pull the power away from the engine and if you're running it at slower speeds you still get the same steering as you would at a higher speed.
