Cl Mystery!! Certain Listings Come Up From Cl's Homepage Search, Others Don't??

?? When I list funiture under "by dealer" it will not show up when someone does a search from the CL homepage. It will if they go into the "furniture" section and then do the search. If I change the listing to be categorized under "by-owner" the listing will show up in a search from the CL homepage. I'm aware of the "by dealer, by owner or both" selection... but you only get that once you're in the "furniture category". Most people start searches from the CL homepage. so they don't get my "by dealer" listings , only the listings under "by-owner". Can anyone shed some light on this. I've read about CL Ghosting etc but that's not it. I've checked this on multiple computers not just mine. I'm really frustrated. Thanks

Sorry you're having problems. This is unfortunately a common issue with Craigslist, and there isnlt much you can do about it.

Craigslist states:

Postings may be removed or omitted from index pages and search results by automated systems, craigslist staff, or community moderation, for reasons including failure to comply with terms of use, posting guidelines, and/or community norms.
