My Account Is On Hold With C.list. Someone Else Was Using My Acct To Post Ads.

Someone else was posting ads using my account. Finally after 3 attempts to solve it the ads were flagged and removed. Now my account is on hold and I cant even change my password or get a response from craigslist except for looking on the forums. How can I get them to resolve this? Can I just open a new account? I sent the the emails I received about the ads they posted. People were emailing me about pricing & such. I forwarded those emails to and all they can respond with are more links and info about phised,hacked & info. I tried to change my password and cannot. My computer had a virus and has been removed and I have reset all my passwords with all of my other accounts, but I do not know how to resolve this problem. Any advise would be much appreciated.

I'm really sorry for your problems. Unfortunately, Craigslist, which has as you may know a huge user base, also has a minuscule staff, and as a result rarely if ever provides personal help. The best solution I can suggest is for you to abandon your current account and start a completely new account.
