Reply To A Posting

Every time I try to reply to a post I get a message saying "could not perform this operation because the default mail client has not been properly installed". How do i install it? I tried to copy and paste the email address yor provide, but that didn;t work either. Can't you do anything to make this site a little more USER FRIENDLY?

Your operating system comes with a pre-installed email client such as Microsoft Outlook or outlook express. If you have a web-based email address, such as hotmail, gmail, yahoo, or cable internet webmail then you can configure your email client to operate. At which point you can click the ad in craigslist and respond without any further action. However, if you do not have such an email address, you can highlight the "reply to" portion at the top of the add, right click on it, left click on "copy", open a new email message, right click in the "To" field of your new message, and left click on "Paste" to paste the reply to address.
